In becoming a therapist, I have fulfilled one of my life's callings. I am passionate about working with people to overcome life's trials and fulfill their potential. I work hard to understand where you have been, where you are at, and where you want to be. I try to look at your issues or symptoms in the context of your life, including social, family, spiritual, biological, and occupational aspects. I have a wide range of experience, including people of all ages and walks of life. You are the expert on your life, and I am here to learn about and understand you. I am a safe place to grow.
I graduated from Brigham Young University in 2008 with my master of science degree in marriage and family therapy. My experience includes community mental health, crisis stabilization, residential rehabilitation for women, outpatient substance abuse, and private practice in both Utah, Oklahoma and Vermont. I feel my wide range of training has prepared me to take on many circumstances and help you through whatever you may be struggling with.
I have been married for nearly ten years. I enjoy spending time with my two darling and rambunctious children, two cats, and two dogs. I love learning, playing the piano, horseback riding, and deep conversations. I've never been great at small talk.
The relationship you build with your therapist is key to making changes and seeing a positive outcome. Come meet me in person or contact me via e-mail or phone. I am happy to answer your questions or provide any information I can to aid you in your path to healing. I look forward to meeting you.
